Grandparents' Prayer Ministry

The Grandparents' Prayer Ministry meets on the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM in the Sanctuary. The format of the meeting is informal and friendly. We have the pictures, names, and birthdates of the grandchildren to look at as we pray for their emotional, spiritual, and physical well being.

We pray for each other too, and encourage one another. We've had many answers to prayers, and expect many more. We encourage all grandparents in the church to submit the following information about their grandchildren: full name, date of birth (including year), a photo (if desired), and any prayer requests.

Between meetings, we email or telephone each other to share special requests and needs. A prayer calendar is available through the church office that lists the children on their birthdates so we can remember them on their special day. Other "prayer tools" are also available to grandparents.

Our group is open to anyone who would like to join us in prayer for their grandchildren. If you have questions, requests, or want to send information on your grandchildren, please contact Peggy McClurg, 636-828-4244.
