Global Friends

Global Friends (GF) is a city-wide initiative of InterFACE Ministries (www.iface.org) and is coordinated by Sheala Vast-Binder. The mission of Global Friends is to equip followers of Jesus to befriend and serve internationals so that they experience God's love. To accomplish this mission, Sheala works with church leadership teams to design and implement ministries that are specific to their particular church in their particular community. Because of this individualized approach, no two Global Friends teams are exactly alike.

At WCAG, the Global Friends team is a collaboration between the various international ministries of the church. Our current focus is to strengthen relationships between the Americans and internationals already in our church so that we can openly embrace internationals from outside our church family. Cultural exchange events and Family Connections are two of the main ways we hope to build these relational bridges. We hope that you will take advantage of these opportunities to learn more from the internationals who live right outside your door!
